Job Summary:
Provide proactive and effective senior-level human resources support to the project and overall project leadership teams. Core responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, coordinating mobilization and demobilization of personnel, and overall employee lifecycle management.
Primary Duties:
- · Provide expert advice to the leadership team regarding human resources requirements
- · Assist the human resources manager in the development and implementation of the human resources strategy and direction for the department, including recruitment, mobilization, accommodation, training, and culture for the project
- · Develop, plan, and implement human resources initiatives as required by leadership
- · Coach and assist managers in the performance management process with their direct reports
- Assists leadership and human resources management with investigation and resolution of misconduct and procedure violations
- · Work with managers and payroll staff to resolve timekeeping and pay entitlement discrepancies
- · Partner with managers in providing advice on all employment relations matters and in facilitating lay-offs and terminations
- · Uphold relationships with key management personnel to influence the management and leadership of their direct reports
- · Provide advice and assistance to project managers, line managers, and employees on corporate human resource policies and procedural matters
- · Provide reports and data analysis across a range of human resource metrics
- · Coach and mentor human resources team members to develop their competence and build capability
- As needed, deliver internal courses as required including Induction and other presentations

- Other related duties as needed and assigned by the Manager in support of the successful completion of the project
Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor or Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years experience in human resources
- Three (3) years experience in construction / engineering / commercial industry
- Two (2) years of experience in onboarding
- Exposure in mobilization and training compliance preferred
Requirements:
- Experience working with a human resources services environment
- Strong data analysis and Excel skills
- Experience in construction industry
- Advanced reporting experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
