Personal Lines Account Manager
Job Description
- Responsible for high-volume personal lines insurance sales to new customers
- Answer incoming sales calls and take walk-in business with or without scheduled appointments
- Gather necessary information to generate quotations for customer application submissions
- Present and explain insurance coverages to customers
- Analyze insureds' current policies and counsel coverages when needed
- Interface with carrier representatives and customers to ensure that all parties receive necessary information in a complete and timely manner to ensure successful sales performance
- Will report to the Personal Lines Department Manager
- Pennsylvania P&C License required (Resident or Non-Resident)
- High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years of personal lines insurance sales and/or account management experience
- Thorough knowledge of brokerage operations procedures and applicable insurance laws/codes
- Proficiency with AMS360 and Image Right highly desired; may consider experience with other agency management systems
- Experience and expertise in operating in electronic environment; excellent automation skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, document management software, carrier proprietary systems, and phone systems
- Must be sales-driven and have the ability to work independently
- Outgoing personality, with the desire to network and build professional relationships
- High degree of self-motivation and self-direction
