Summary: Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, oversees the procurement process, builds and manages supplier relationships and implements cost-effective purchasing strategies. Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-efficient acquisition of goods and services. Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and that terms and conditions are in line with the Firm’s business requirements. Serve as administrator for procurement software, overseeing configuration, software upgrades, support ticket submissions, user management, supplier management and onboarding suppliers to platform. Ensure seamless communication with users regarding the status of all pending and open products and services, with a particular focus on managing annual renewal processes. Review all processed invoices to ensure accuracy before submitting to the Accounting department for payment. Collaborate with internal departments to identify and source required goods. Ensure optimal levels of supply inventory are maintained. Supervise the Purchasing team’s performance, evaluate department procedures, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, boost productivity, and empower the team to deliver exceptional service and results. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Experience using Coupa or a comparable procurement management software. Extensive experience leading supplier negotiations and managing contracts to ensure compliance, cost-effectiveness and value alignment. Strong understanding of purchasing processes, workflows, and internal controls. Proven experience in purchasing a wide range of items, including computer equipment and software, office supplies, perishable and nonperishable food service supplies and equipment, printing and engraving materials, electrical supplies and equipment, and furniture. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on negotiation, relationship management and innovative problem-solving. Highly detail-oriented. Innovative problem-solver with a talent for sourcing unique and specialized items to fulfill specific user requests. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 8-10 years in procurement or purchasing, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role. Working Conditions: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. The expected base salary for this role ranges from $160,000 – $170,000. The base salary offer is based on a variety of factors which includes, but not limited to qualifications, education and experience.
