Responsibilities
- Assist bidding mechanical and electrical trades
- Manage Equipment Procurement process
- Develop MEP critical path schedule
- Coordinate and track critical path construction
- Track and coordinate equipment deliveries
- Review mechanical and electrical submittals
- Work with subcontractors and design team to provide conflict resolution for MEP issues
- Coordinate and manage the quality control process for MEP systems construction
- Manage startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systems
- Coordinate and support third party commissioning activities
- Manage commissioning documentation
Qualifications
- 4 year engineering degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
- Minimum of 8 years extensive experience related to electrical / mechanical discipline. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of discipline construction technology, equipment, materials, methods, etc., required.
- Capable in leading and scheduling MEP activities
- Preconstruction / Equipment Procurement Experience
- Ability to accept project assignments that may require extended long term temporary living arrangements or frequent travel to non-local job sites.
