What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategist - Investments position at WALDRON PRIVATE WEALTH?
Waldron Private Wealth (Waldron) is looking for a Strategist - Investments that will provide investment portfolio management services, conduct research on the economy and markets, perform due diligence on new and existing managers, and create reports for client investment portfolios presentations. This individual will also act as an internal subject matter expert on investment related matters. Additionally, this individual will work towards assuming management responsibilities while serving as an internal subject matter expert on investment matters.
In this role, you will:
- Perform client portfolio management duties as assigned, including rebalancing, cash management, allocation changes, and performance reporting.
- Assist in the due diligence process for new and existing investment strategies, working with team members to complete relevant reporting, and communicating analysis of the potential investments.
- Participate in various client interactions (ex. emails, meetings, phone calls, etc.) with other client team members.
- Proactively identify client and prospect needs without direct assignment by Director or Service Advisor.
- Mentor investment and other department team members and exhibit a passion for leadership, coaching, and mentorship.
- Demonstrate technical expertise on relevant market, economic, and investment manager topics.
