About This Opportunity
As a Building Envelope Intern at Walker Consultants, you will gain invaluable experience working on all aspects of our projects setting you up for success to begin your architectural or engineering career. Building envelope projects require gaining an understanding of how structures are built, investigation of defects that damage building structures, design to prevent issues from occurring, construction site services to review and understand the systems, and testing to confirm the performance of building envelope systems. You will work on a wide variety of projects such as museums, hospitality, healthcare, commercial, multifamily, and other markets relevant to your future career. You will be a member of an internal multi-disciplinary team consisting of architects, engineers, planners and restoration professionals and will report directly to Director of Building Envelope, Project Manager or Consultant.
