Tool Builder (thru tubing tools)

This needs to be someone who has experience with thru tubing tools. This is not drilling tools, this is not running tools as a field operator. This is hardcore experience in the shop building thru tubing tools. This is someone who lives in the oilfield centers and will to relocate to Houston, no relocation package.

Tool Builder

The Tool Builder assembles and tests newly-manufactured tool parts and works with used tools to redress them for another run in the well. Critical skills are metal work with close tolerance parts and understanding the physics of tool function.

Duties

Working in the shop, the Tool Builder will maintain the rental tool fleet using die grinders, angle grinders, drills, hones, metal files, pipe wrenches, torque wrench, and the hydraulic torque machine.

Reports to Shop Supervisor

Full Time Position

Must pass background check.

Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds regularly throughout an 8-hour day.
