Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Assists the Fixed Based Operations (FBO) Manager in the daily operation, training, and supervision of department staff, including customer service and line service personnel, responsible for aircraft servicing and ground handling.
Assists the FBO Manager with directing operations personnel involved in establishing, promoting, and maintaining FBO services. Assists with financial reporting by developing and executing financial reports. Reconciles sales and purchases data. Conducts trend analyses. Presents results to senior management. Monitors cost of equipment maintenance and parts. Plans, documents, and evaluates weekly expenditures based on the overall budget. Adjusts spending to stay within budget guidelines.
Oversees and ensures the completion of safety-sensitive functions by observing, monitoring, and training customer service and line support personnel. Reviews and evaluates safety issues. Provides guidance on improving safety. Helps in auditing the safety program for compliance with state and federal laws and company policies and procedures by developing, implementing, and updating audit criteria. Attends safety meetings and provides updated briefings to staff.
Manages inspections and the aesthetic condition of Beaver Lake Aviation facilities. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs. Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities. Demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous improvement.
Develops customer service and line service processes and tools. Identifies business problems, Benchmarks competitor services. Defines best practices. Oversees customer service and line service teams to ensure the optimization of customer experiences. Develops solutions to accommodate requests and feedback. Provides twenty-four-hour service and support.
Manages scheduled aircraft line activities by ensuring operational support is provided during aircraft launch and recovery procedures. Determines line service shift priorities. Adjusts support activities to match demand. Communicates with flight operations. Keeps the FBO Manager informed of all operational and service level issues and emergency response issues.
Ensures compliance with quality control/compliance measures for the storage and disposal of aviation fuels and ground support equipment. Maintains fuel quality by inspecting fuel. Changes filter elements at the fuel farm. Performs tests on fuel to detect specific gravity, number of contaminants, and anti-icing additives. Performs fuel recovery processes. Runs fuel reports. Documents test results. Conducts oil inventory. Manages the in-stock and inventory levels of aviation fuels.
Supports customer service initiatives to ensure customer retention and sales by identifying and mitigating potential compliance issues. Creates and delivers status reports to senior leadership. Monitors and maintains inventory to ensure competitive pricing and availability. Monitors invoicing and product quality. Designs and markets services to new customers through various media.
Maintains Beaver Lake Aviation equipment by ensuring the completion of inspections of ground support equipment. Changes air filters and oil. Verifies compliance with fail safes. Documents inspection and maintenance results.
Manages ground movement of aircraft among flight operations and ground support personnel. Tows and parks aircraft. Positions aircraft in hangars. Performs de-ice operations during inclement weather.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in management, aviation management, or related area. Option 2: 2 years' management experience.
1 year's experience working at an FBO facility.
Valid state-issued driver's license.
Successful completion of a motor vehicle background check.
As permitted by applicable law, provide evidence of full vaccination as defined by CDC guidelines OR secure approval of medical or religious accommodation for the vaccination mandate.
