What We’re Looking For: Walstrom Marine is seeking a Parts Coordinator to support our Parts Department in Traverse City! This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized professional with experience in inventory management, vendor relations, and customer service. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review work orders and place orders for parts in a timely manner.
- Receive parts upon arrival, track purchase orders, and ensure proper documentation.
- Communicate efficiently with technicians, vendors, and customers regarding parts status and availability.
- Research parts online and through vendors to develop accurate estimates.
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls and emails.
- Conduct weekly audits of work orders and parts inventory to verify accuracy.
- Maintain stock supplies for the company and parts department, including tools, office supplies, cleaning supplies, nuts, bolts, and other essentials.
- Participate in year-end inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the parts department.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in parts coordination, inventory control, or a related field (marine, automotive, or powersports industry preferred).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with inventory management software is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, Saturday availability required during summer months
- This is an in-person, on site position based out of our Traverse City location
