THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION.  

We are currently recruiting for a SALES DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER that manages internal collaboration for new account prospecting, Buyer Persona Development ("ideal customer profile") for pipeline process, lead qualification and research, management of KPI's, RFI completion, client presentation collaboration with sales team and design, on-line social media management and uploads, and upon successful award of new accounts, facilitation of all client information to the operational team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages internal collaboration for new accounts with sales, RFP, and operation teams; includes scheduling RFI/RFP kick-off meetings, and completing initial RFI data and scheduling subsequent RFI meetings with key stakeholder to ensure strategic completion of the required information
  • Manages the account/client qualification form that is filled out by the SDR and validated by the VP of Finance and/or Accounting
  • Manages data for new prospects/account targets with ERP or equivalent database – ensuring all leads and communications are logged in and information is accurate.
  • Coordinates the assignment of new account lead gen prospects with the CRO for smooth and quick transition to the appropriate salesperson.
  • Works with the sales team on marketing initiatives: prospect and customer communications, presentations, trade show coordination, research, and other marketing assignments.
  • Supports and completes preliminary information for the sales and operations teams on strategic custom one-off projects that intend on launching a new large client program to include the following:
    • Combining signage knowledge and converting municipal code into design requests (if required by Ops)
    • Educating the salesperson on municipal findings and providing recommendations for sign package (if required by Ops)
  • Builds strong relationships with PM and project teams. Understands business area opportunities and challenges, process or system impacts to all related business or systems areas when working with the sales team on recommended solutions to obtain new business.
  • Initiates the project launch and integration process with the operations team, who will lead the integration of new accounts. Works with that operational team lead to ensure that key client objectives are understood and that all client program details are handed over and that the required project management and supporting tool are identified and used in launching projects as identified by the CRO.
  • Responsible to identify and upload from key department heads any compliance information that is required by new and existing clients to their on-line systems to ensure account management objectives for the company.
  • Manages KPI’s for the sales team: # of leads created, # of leads that are turned into viable client prospects: # of leads that produce meetings, # of leads that produce RFI/RFP process, # of leads that produce client wins and successful program programs and on-boarding.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Experience with completing RFIs
    • Ability to quickly learn and use new complex technical concepts and resolve issues with them in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Can demonstrate effective RFI writing/technical writing– Proposal writer experience is preferred
    • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
    • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization

      • The employee is frequently required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is required to stand up and/or move up to 3 hours; and to constantly sit between 6-8 hours per day; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

      • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a typical office environment.

    • High attention to detail.

    • Excellent Communicator.

    • Proven industry experience via operational background and/or sales experience.

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with information provided.

    Math Ability:

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Skills:

    Microsoft Excel proficiency, ERP system experience, MS Word proficiency; experience with online bidding/auctions such as Ariba.
