Tax Depot, LLC, a friendly and established tax preparation firm located in South Tulsa, is looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team during the upcoming tax season. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely federal and state tax returns for individuals. (I took out “and potentially small businesses because we don’t prepare business returns through Tax Depot)
- Conduct client interviews to gather detailed tax information.
- Analyze financial records to identify potential deductions and credits.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients throughout the tax preparation process.
- Ensure all returns comply with IRS and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer skills and tax preparation software (Drake Tax experience a plus).
- Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
