Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions.
- Execute a variety of dental procedures, including root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Utilize dental software such as Dentrix and Eaglesoft for patient management and record-keeping.
- Fabricate dental appliances and restorations as needed.
- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout treatment processes.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient care with an emphasis on communication and empathy.
- Familiarity with dental fabrication processes is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
