Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Description

This position is based in the Dallas area. We are open to candidates who are willing to relocate to Dallas but cannot accept remote workers as this is an in-office position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making

· Identify, monitor, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, trends and metrics to identify areas and opportunities of improvement

· Monitor and maintain departmental budgets and budget workbooks

· Work with accounting to identify and manage/optimize working capital of operating companies

· Contribute to fund or company level dashboards and meetings with FP&A insights

· Take on ad-hoc projects under FP&A / Investments / Treasury umbrella

· In this role, you will regularly be responsible for taking the data and creating meaningful insights and proactively presenting at the executive level

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree required

· 5 years of work experience in FP&A or a Master’s degree in a related field and 3 years of work experience

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Must have at least 3 years of recent and relevant experience in Private Equity or FP&A specific roles

· Strong MS Excel modeling, including advanced formulas, waterfalls - 5 years

· Ability to polish attractive and easy to understand PowerPoint slide decks and MS Excel documents

· Understanding and work based experience of working capital and cash management

· Understanding and work based experience in Oil and Gas

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands

· Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and acute attention to detail

· Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members at all levels of the organization

· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

DESIRED SKILLS

· Experience working in an International Environment (particularly UK) a plus

· Experience working in capital markets a plus
