What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner position at Wasatch Pain Solutions?
Wasatch Pain Solutions in South Jordan, UT is seeking full-time mid-level provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) with great work ethic, team mentality, with innovative and excellent patient care skills. Clinic hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm. Competitive compensation and benefit package included.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to operate with autonomy while supporting the supervising physician for the care of a large patient population
- Conducting new patient consultations, medication management, follow ups
-Administer diagnostic tests. Administer topical or oral medications under the direction of the physician. Assists with in-office procedures ensuring proper informed consent is obtained, sets up and cleans up from procedures.
Ideal candidates have a strong foundation and knowledge of:
- How to contribute to physician's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term patient care issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations
- Documentation needed to support recommended treatments
- How to communicate in an effective and cordial manner with consulting healthcare providers
- How to contribute to professional development of staff team members by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
