About the Role
The Director of Student Financial Aid will play a critical role in ensuring the successful recruitment, enrollment, and retention of students at Washington Adventist University. This individual will work closely with the Enrollment Management Team to develop and implement strategies for managing financial aid compliance, coordinating institutional funds with federal funds, and performing fund management functions for Title IV and state programs and select institutional funds.

The Director of Student Financial Aid will play a critical role in ensuring the successful recruitment, enrollment, and retention of students at Washington Adventist University. This individual will work closely with the Enrollment Management Team to develop and implement strategies for managing financial aid compliance, coordinating institutional funds with federal funds, and performing fund management functions for Title IV and state programs and select institutional funds.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develops and implements comprehensive plans for managing financial aid compliance, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives.
- Coordinates with federal agencies to ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines, and program requirements.
- Evaluates student need, manages financial clearance processes, establishes aid to be awarded, and obtains and authorizes federal and state funds for students.
