Job Summary
The Director of Student Financial Aid will serve as a key member of the Enrollment Management Team, responsible for managing financial aid compliance, implementing federally required coordination of institutional funds with federal funds, and performing fund management functions for Title IV and state programs and select institutional funds. This individual will maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding sensitive matters.
Responsibilities Include:
The Director of Student Financial Aid will serve as a key member of the Enrollment Management Team, responsible for managing financial aid compliance, implementing federally required coordination of institutional funds with federal funds, and performing fund management functions for Title IV and state programs and select institutional funds. This individual will maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding sensitive matters.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develops and implements short-term and long-range goals for Student Financial Services, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives.
- Evaluates student need, manages financial clearance processes, establishes aid to be awarded, and obtains and authorizes federal and state funds for students.
- Monitors staff effectiveness, interprets federal and state aid regulations, and advises staff on policy and procedure issues as needed.
- Prepares federal and state reports, compiles required data/lists, and submits information as requested.
