We are seeking a Sales Representative OR Sales manager to join our growing team in the Greater Seattle Area. If you are driven, customer-focused, and eager to grow your career in outside sales with a company that has a positive environmental impact, this is the role for you.

Job Overview:

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities in the property management and multifamily housing sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization that focuses on sustainability and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will drive sales, build relationships, and deliver outstanding presentations to potential clients, while exceeding sales targets and helping to expand Waste Recovery Systems' footprint across the Pacific Northwest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation & Contract Acquisition: Create a pipeline of prospects, generate leads, and close new contracts within the multifamily and property management sector throughout the Pacific Northwest region.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key decision-makers in the property management industry.
  • Consultative Selling: Work closely with customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored waste/recycling solutions that will benefit their properties and operations.
  • Presentation & Demonstration: Deliver professional and engaging presentations that clearly explain the benefits of Waste Recovery Systems’ services.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, collaborating with the Operations Team, and providing ongoing support to clients to maintain high retention rates.
  • Industry Knowledge: Continuously update your knowledge of the waste management and recycling industry to provide accurate information and recommendations to clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of services and follow-up support for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in outside sales, especially in the multifamily housing, property management, or waste/recycling industries, is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to generate leads, develop client relationships, and close sales deals.
  • Customer-Centric: Strong focus on customer service with the ability to handle client inquiries and objections professionally.
  • Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Self-driven and results-oriented, with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to identify opportunities for improvement in client operations and offer tailored solutions.
  • Technology: Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with lead generation tools is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
