General Responsibilities:
❑ Optimize and maximize Guest and Associate experience.
❑ Responsible for the overseeing of arrivals and departures on a daily
basis.
❑ Effectively coordinate requests and tasks between departments to
ensure all guest needs are met.
❑ Champion of the hotel’s Guest Service Experience
Specific Responsibilities:
❑ Send a daily end of the day activity and accomplishment email to
immediate Supervisor.
❑ Maintain a high energy while on the property.
❑ Gain and maintain excellent knowledge of hotel operations,
advancement opportunities and general industry trends.
❑ Handle any emergencies at the hotel during scheduled shifts with the aid
of a manager.
❑ Ensure charges are posted to guests folios correctly and all payments
have been collected upon departure.
❑ Attend pre scheduled weekly meetings with the department
heads/managers.
❑ Attend a monthly safety meeting to ensure safety policies and
procedures are known and followed.
Primary Functions:
Revenue:
o Assist Management in revenue opportunities where possible by
keeping them informed of potential groups, upcoming events,
and information shared by guests.
Quality:
o Guest Service: Ensure that the hotel meets/exceeds WAVERLEY
HOTELS and Brand standards for guest satisfaction.
o Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal
actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture
a positive, professional work environment, and adhere to
WAVERLEY HOTELS’s Standard Operating Procedures.
o Maintain cleanliness and appearance of lobby and common
areas within lobby.
o Maintain a professional and inviting appearance.
Sales & Marketing:
o Communicate any potential Sales & Marketing opportunities to
the Sales department and management.
