Duties:

· Organize treatment room for each patient

· Greet, seat and prepare patients for treatment

· Update patient health history at each visit

· Assist the dentist at chair side (passing and receiving of instruments, oral evacuation, retraction, and preparation of materials)

· Be prepared in the event of an emergency to assist the dentist with basic life support

· Clean treatment room and operatory equipment, and sterilize instruments according to OSHA guidelines

· Order and keep inventory of clinical supplies as approved through the dentist

· Enter patient charting data on computer if instructed by dentist

· Aid receptionist in answering phones if receptionist is unavailable

· Expose digital radiographs (if licensed)

· Other similar duties as assigned

License/Certification:

• Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred but not required)
• X-Ray Certification (Preferred but not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
