Summary/Objective
The Residential Cleaning Technician Level I is responsible for delivering quality cleaning and organizing services to WLM clientele. The position is responsible for the tasks involved that contribute to the overall success of the specific client’s job. This person will work with a team and under the guidance of a team leader.
Essential Functions

1. Clean residences and other working or living areas so that health standards are met using approved cleaning agents.
2. Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies.
3. Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
4. Sweep and scrub floors, using brooms, mops, and vacuums.
5. Dust and polish furniture.
6. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
7. Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses.
8. Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware.
9. Keep cleaning caddy well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
10. Carry cleaning supplies using carts, totes, and other means of transportation.
11. Observe precautions required to protect client property, and report damage, to supervisors.
12. Follow We Love Messes and industry best practices when consulting on organizational and deep cleaning projects.
Residential Cleaning Technician Level I Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Dependability – a residential cleaning team is only as successful as the employees that make up the team; the Residential Cleaning Technician Level I is expected to be reliable, on time for work, and consistent with the work they do.
Physical stamina – the Residential Cleaning Technician Level I works on their feet for the duration of their shifts, around scheduled breaks, in environments that may be physically uncomfortable due to temperature, odor, etc; often they submerge cleaning rags in hot water, climb up and down ladders and stairs, manipulate heavy pieces of equipment such as a vacuum cleaner, use arms and hands to forcefully scrub surfaces, and carry up to 50 pounds for short distances.
Working with chemicals and equipment – the Residential Cleaning Technician Level I works with potentially heavy/cumbersome equipment/items on a daily basis—whether manipulating a vacuum cleaner, moving furniture, or hauling supplies or garbage, they work safely and effectively in every aspect of the job.
Team player – the Residential Cleaning Technician Level I takes direction from the Team Leader and/or CEO and is willing to assist other team members to get their jobs done.
Knowledge and passion-a Residential Cleaning Technician Level I must be able to demonstrate a vast knowledge of cleaning best practices and exhibit a passion for improving a designated space.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
