Drilling and Rental Tool Field Specialist Farmington, NM

We are seeking an experienced Drilling and Rental Tool Field Specialist to join our team in Farmington, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise for drilling operations and rental tool equipment on oil and gas well sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of drilling and rental tool equipment, including but not limited to mud pumps, top drives, and solids control equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues on-site, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
• Provide training and guidance to rig crews on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Conduct pre-job inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.
• Collaborate with field supervisors and other personnel to optimize drilling operations and minimize downtime.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in drilling and rental tool operations, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy equipment and working extended hours as needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
