Job Title: Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist (Allied) Location: GMC - EP Lab (No local candidates within 50 miles) Contract Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced EP Lab Technologist to join our team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrophysiology, with at least 2 years of experience working in the EP Lab setting. This role requires an individual capable of supporting a variety of procedures, including pacemaker and ICD implantation, structural heart procedures, and complex ablation procedures. Responsibilities: Assist in electrophysiology procedures such as ICD, SICD, pacemaker implantations, structural heart interventions, and PVI EP ablations. Monitor and manage patients’ vital signs during procedures and provide immediate care if needed. Ensure all equipment is properly prepared and maintained for each procedure. Collaborate effectively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the EP Lab. Qualifications: Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). Licensure/Certification: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or equivalent certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT). Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an EP Lab setting, with experience in electrophysiology procedures. Special Procedures/Unit Details: Procedures include ICD and SICD implants, pacemakers, structural heart procedures, and EP ablations (including PVI). Holiday Expectations: Must be available to work 1 major holiday (either Christmas Day or New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (either Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve).
