Welvista's Smiles for a Lifetime Program is seeking skilled dentists dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Dentists play a crucial role in diagnosing dental conditions, performing treatments such as fillings, extractions and educating patients on oral health maintenance. With a commitment to excellence, our dentists strive to ensure every patient receives compassionate care and achieves a healthy, beautiful smile.

Responsibilities:

·        Diagnosing dental conditions and developing treatment plans.

·        Performing dental procedures such as fillings and extractions.

·        Conducting routine dental exams and cleanings.

·        Check prophylactic treatment and perform exams, administered by dental hygienist.

·        Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.

·        Addressing dental emergencies and providing timely treatment.

·        Collaborating with other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

·        Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

·        Upholding ethical and professional standards in all aspects of patient care.

·        Refer patients to specialists, as needed.

Position Requirements:

·        Education requirement: Graduate of accredited dental school.

·        Must be currently licensed to practice dentistry in S.C.

·        Must have current Drug Enforcement Administration license and state of S.C controlled substance license current.

·        Must have Malpractice coverage (provide Declaration page)

·        Must have a S.C. Medicaid provider ID or be willing to apply for a number.

Compensation:

·        $675 per day mileage reimbursement (dentist will receive a 1099 at the end of the year)
