Responsibilities
- Triage patients: perform vital signs, obtain history, perform appropriate testing
- Enter data into electronic medical record
- Prepare rooms for patient examination and procedures
- Administer medications under the direction of a health care providers
- Handle tasks such as contacting pharmacies, laboratories and other health care entities in order to ensure appropriate patient care and management
- Provide medical assistance in emergency situations
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements
- Be Flexible and Willing to Learn
- Efficiency, accuracy, and speed are a must.
- Candidate must be familiar with computers
- Some college preferred however, willing to train the right candidate.
