West Side Beer Distributing is seeking to fill a part-time Beer Merchandiser position in Battle Creek.
- Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday. Saturday and/or Sunday from 7:00am - 3:30pm (until route is completed)
- Starting pay rate is $16.75/hour. After 90 days, pay rate will be $17.25/hr. After 12 months of service, pay rate will be $17.75/hr.
- Merchandisers drive their own vehicle, but are provided with a weekly car allowance and gas card.
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
POSITION SUMMARY
Duties consist of replenishing product on shelves, coolers, racks, bins, displays to attract customers. Responsible for consolidating all back stock in retail accounts to company standards. Take physical count of stock, check and price product. Ensure product rotation per supplier and company guidelines. Required to use Encompass software to punch in and out of accounts to validate service. Responsible for adhering to company policies, procedures, MLCC guidelines and supplier agreements.

- Take inventory to identify items to be replenished.
- Replenish shelves, racks and bins with product and price tags.
- Check inventory levels to ensure correct number of cases available for displays and cooler sets.
- Follow supplier and company product rotation standards to ensure fresh product.
- Plan and build product displays in retail stores.
- Stamp, attach, or change price tags on product as directed by sales representative.
- Set up POS signage and displays of product to attract customers.
- Complete product and development training as required.
- Communicate appropriate information related to inventory out of stocks and/or customer service needs to sales representative or merchandising team lead.
- Review and understand all competitive pricing.
- Maintain positive customer relations.
- Solicit and Secure competitive display space which may become available due to out of stock (OOS) situations or poor service.

Other Requirements: Must pass physical, drug screen, background check and motor vehicle report must meet insurance company guidelines
