Seeking Experienced Heavy Industrial Maintenance Mechanics!
Shift: 1st shift ***hours vary based on location****
2nd shift is available in Middletown and Meriden, CT
3rd shift available in Meriden, CT
Pay is based on experience****
Heavy Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities Include:
- Perform routine tasks on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Supervise and coordinate projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic quality of properties.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall facility operations.
Heavy Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements Include:
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- EXPERIENCE with Food Production Equipment, regulations, and restrictions (FDA / USDA)
- HVAC, electrical, and welding experience preferred
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting logic controllers.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead projects effectively.
- Experience in residential painting techniques and materials.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
