Job Description

Salary : $18-22 hourly

Westaff is Hiring Machine Operators, Packers, and Utility workers for Plastic Manufacturer in Deep River, CT!

Multiple Shifts available!

1st Shift 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm

2nd Shift : 3 : 30pm-12 : 00am

3rd Shift : 11 : 30pm- 8 : 00am

Training Shift : Will have to train on 1st shift for 2 weeks, 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm.

Pay Rate : Starting pay : $18.85 $0.50 shift differential (some openings may start higher)

Once hired on perm : $21.98 / hr. $0.50 shift differential.

Machine Operator Responsibilities

Start and operate Magnetic Drilling (BDS) machines, RST machines & auxiliary equipment as needed

Inspect product and make adjustments to machines as needed

Adjust machines to ensure they are meeting quality and production standards

Keep production floor clean of tails, moils, pellets, bottles, and an material i.e. regrind etc

Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Machine Operator Qualifications

Prior manufacturing experience (required)

Prior Machine Operating experience (preferred)
