Job Description Summary:
The Stock Clerk is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of equipment, materials, merchandise, or tools for the U.S. Army’s Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) Logistics Support Services contract. This role involves compiling stock inventory, preparing administrative reports, and processing various administrative documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming orders and verifying their contents for accuracy.
- Issuing supplies and equipment as per requests and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
- Preparing administrative reports related to stock inventory and transactions.
- Processing FLIPLs (Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss) and LTs (Logistics Transactions) in accordance with established procedures.
- Requesting or ordering supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
General Duties:
- Storing supplies and equipment in designated areas within the storeroom.
- Applying appropriate identification labels or tags to articles for easy retrieval.
- Conducting periodic or perpetual inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained.
Minimum Requirements:
- Fluent in reading and writing English.
- Ability to accurately perform administrative tasks such as preparing reports and processing documents.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with stockroom operations and inventory management procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately verify incoming orders and maintain stock records.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
