The Role

The Director of Sales Operations will play a critical role in optimizing sales processes by ensuring new customers and projects are set up efficiently for billing, collaborating with Microsoft on new programs and incentives, and addressing customer satisfaction within our existing customer base. This role is crucial in driving operational excellence and supporting the sales team to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities: 

Sales Strategy And Planning

  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to develop sales strategies, goals, and targets.
  • Assist in forecasting sales and setting realistic targets.

Process Optimization

  • Develop and implement best practices for sales operations to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in sales processes and recommend solutions.
  • Streamline lead management, pipeline management, and other critical sales workflows.
  • Create and manage automation tools to increase sales process efficiency

Customer Onboarding

  • Oversee the onboarding of new customers and projects, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are completed accurately and timely to achieve our company OKR’s
  • Sales Analytics and Reporting:
  • Provide insights and reports on sales performance, including revenue, lead conversion rates, and sales cycle analysis.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend actions to improve sales performance.
  • Implement and manage CRM tools to maximize opportunities and customer relationships.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

Training and Development

  • Train sales representatives on operation and process workflows and initiatives

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with Microsoft Sales Operations and Program Leaders on new opportunities and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Western Computer's goals and objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related field.
  • 3 years of selling ERP solutions specifically with a working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 
  • Previous experience with Business Central, F&SCM, Customer Engagement and other legacy applications (AX, NAV, and CRM) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with sales compensation models and incentive structures.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices.
