Headquartered in Carrollton, Texas we manufacture quality products used in America’s critical infrastructure industries including but not limited to class 8 trucks, electric vehicles, truck trailers, utility scale solar power, electrical transmission, and numerous commercial construction products.
About the Role : This position reports to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager and is responsible for
designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and processes to optimize safe, efficiency, and productivity.
This position will work closely with our maintenance and engineering teams to optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to enhance overall safety and productivity.
Your Responsibilities :
- Solve complex technical problems with creativity and autonomy.
- Maintain and improve new and existing processes.
- Optimize efficiency and profitability through process enhancements.
- Develop work instructions, control plans, and conduct process failure analysis.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues with equipment.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams for process improvement.
- Guide technical staff in repairing and improving manufacturing equipment.
- Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment including but not limited to adhering to all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements, immediate incident reporting, and adherence to both Safety Cardinal Rules and Quality Cardinal Rules, among others.
- Promote, support, and enforce Western’s Safety, Quality, Governance, regulatory and ISO 9001 standards as they apply.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team.
