We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant MA to join our team at our NCSM location.
Schedule at NCSM location includes some weekends and evening shifts (with shift differential pay)
The Medical Assistant MA will:
- Welcome patients and prepare them for their health care visit
- Complete intake assessments including medical history and vital signs
- Assist during procedures
- Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations
- Perform phlebotomy and point of care laboratory testing
- Manage and prioritize patient portal (MyChart) and telephone communications
- Participate in and support patient education
- Coordinate ongoing care including referrals and prescriptions
- Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission
- Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care

Minimum Requirements of the Medical Assistant MA position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant experience preferred, Completion of Certified/Registered Medical Assistant program within six months of hire required
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
The successful Medical Assistant candidate will be subject to a background check.
