Western Pump, Inc., a leading petroleum contractor, has IMMEDIATE NEED for Service Technicians to join our Southern California team or Arizona team. The candidate must have mechanical and electrical experience.
Seeking technicians with Wayne or Gilbarco dispenser experience and Verifone or Gilbarco POS experience;
and/or experience with Vehicle Service Equipment inspection, maintenance, and installation.
Must currently have or be able to prepare for ICC Certification exams that are required for this work in California. Weights and Measures certifications also required for all locations. Must have or be able to prepare for Vendor Certifications.

-Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic repair
-Hands on Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
-Working knowledge of hand and power tools
-Succeeds in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
-Willing to learn and work well under pressure
-Available to be on call and capable of successfully completing all work in an efficient and effective manner
-Adept computer applications skills
-Strong, effective verbal and written communication skills are essential
SUMMARY
Performs repairs, maintenance and construction on UST/AST System components at
Retail/Commercial fueling facilities.
Such components may include:
Dispensers, Pumps, Controllers, POS consoles, Printers, Fuel Management Systems, Tanks and
Tank hardware, Compressors, Filters, Tank level monitors/Leak detection
equipment, Lighting and Electrical systems, Valves, Piping and Fluid conveying
systems, Air motors, Hoists and Jacks, Day tanks, industrial controls, meters
and registers, and other electro/mechanical equipment
