What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) position at Western Reserve?
Under the direction of the Anesthesiologist administers intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics following specified methods and procedures to ensure safe, effective care. Assembles necessary supplies and equipment; monitors patient’s reactions and vital signs, during and after anesthesia. Oversees patient recovery and cares for immediate post-operative needs related to sedation and anesthesia services. Performs regional nerve blocks and specialized procedures.
Education and Training
Master’s degree in Nursing; current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
required. CRNA certification required.
Experience
Two years CRNA experience, to have included Regional Block experience, required.
