Description:
We are recruiting applicants who will provide a safe, sanitary, and attractive environment for patients, staff, and visitors at Western State Hospital. Duties will include a variety of housekeeping tasks such as: cleaning, vacuuming, floor buffing, dusting, emptying trash cans, sweeping, and supplying bathrooms. Hours: 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Rotating weekends and holidays
Minimum Qualifications
The successful applicant will have general knowledge of housekeeping procedures. Must have demonstrated ability to be trained to operate housekeeping equipment (vacuum, buffer, floor scrubber, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in housekeeping environment preferred. Bi-Lingual English and Spanish is preferred. High School graduate or GED preferred.
Special Requirements:
The successful applicant must pass a criminal background investigation, drug screening test and employment reference check. The applicant must have the ability to perform at the level of physical demands noted on the Employee Work Profile and the verified ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
