What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Instructor, Adult Education position at Western Suffolk BOCES?
Western Suffolk BOCES anticipates an opening for a part time Autobody Instructor for the Adult Ed program at our Wilson Tech Dix Hills campus. The instructor will teach a group of beginning level students the fundamentals of metal and damage stress repair through both lecture and hands on instruction. The instructor will supervise and instruct on the use of auto body tools and plastic filling. Experience with techniques of spraying, the use of various solvents, surface preparation, and masking procedure is also preferred. Discussion on safety is required.
Must be in autobody profession for 5 years. Teaching experience preferred, but not required.
Classes will be held evenings beginning in March 2025. Salary is $27-$29 per hour based on experience.
