We are seeking a Vocational Specialist for our ACT/ Assisted Living Assertive Treatment program facility located in Suffolk, VA:
**Substance Abuse, Mental Health, or ID/DD experience is preferred for this position. **
Responsibilities and Duties for (Qualified Mental Health Professional) Vocational Specialist:
- Provide services in the client's home and in the community to support integration and
- All services are provided as a part of a comprehensive treatment
Qualifications and Skills for (Qualified Mental Health Professional) Vocational Specialist:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling
- Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adults
- One (1) year clinical work experience in a MH/SA facility or similar setting, two (2) years preferred
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record required
- Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or Certified Additional Counselor (CAC), preferred.
