Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or Certified Nurse Midwife to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of acute and chronic illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Elicit detailed patient histories and conduct physical examinations.
- Determine possible diagnoses; order and perform laboratory and special examinations or tests required for evaluation of illnesses; integrate clinical data, plan subsequent diagnostic measures and manage therapeutic measures according to established guidelines.
- Advise patient on health, preventative care, STI testing, pregnancy testing, contraception
- LARCs
- Care for patients from early adolescence and of reproductive age
- Provide routine follow-up care including appropriate adjustment of medications.
- Provide efficient and productive outpatient woman care services
- Timely completion of medical records and other associated patient care related forms.
- Demonstrated clinical competence and in-depth knowledge of women’s health
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Current state Nurse Practitioner license
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical practices
- Experience in areas such as sonography, case management, airway management, assisted living, utilization review, medical documentation, laboratory procedures, acute pain management, and dementia care is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
