Westgate Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center a 110 bed facility located in beautiful Havertown, PA is looking for an experienced candidate for the Director of Nursing position. The ideal candidate will oversee all clinical operations and ensure high quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• The Director of Nursing will direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel (Unit Managers, RN, LPN, CNA etc.)
• The DON will guide staffing procedures
• The Director of Nursing will set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
• The DON will organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures
• The Director of Nursing will develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards
• The DON will control budgets and monitor expenditures
• The DON will resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
• The DON will collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations

Skills

• Experience as Director of Nursing with a successful survey history
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel
• Great communication and team building skills
• Registered Nurse License and CPR certification
