Job Description

As a Waterpark Cashier, you will:

• Balancing of daily receipts, including but not limited to: cash, vouchers and credit card charges.
• Cashing out checks.
• Accepting approved forms of payment adhering to accounting standard (with full and complete accountability) up to and including but not limited to: cash, credit cards and vouchers charges.
• Follows and complies with all departmental cash/check handling procedures.
• Greets all guests that arrive within visible area.
• Applies suggestive selling techniques to provide helpful guest service and maximize sales.
• Records information pertaining to services rendered.
• Maintains cash drawer/bank accountability per company policies.
• Compliance to department standard operating procedural manual to include: service standards, cash/check handling procedures, safety and security, stocking and requisitioning.
• Conform to discount/complimentary guest check procedures.
• Participate in company monthly Goals & Measurements Program.
• Responsible for providing Excellent Service to owners and guests alike.
• Perform POS system responsibility per guidelines.
• Respond to guest inquiries, complaints in a professional and urgent manner.
• Maintain required department records with accuracy.
• Follow guest walk-out department procedures.
• Complete opening/running/closing duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 35lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
• Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company equipment

• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
