Job Summary: Assist in processes to enhance Revenue Cycle Operations through collaboration with patients and employees, creating an experience that adds to patient satisfaction.
Job Duties:
- Assist with patient questions and concerns on billing and patient financial responsibility.
- Assist with Account Receivable resolution.
- Sets up payment arrangements or arranges for financing with patients that are in need.
- Evaluates patient accounts and provides information regarding the Financial Assistance Program.
- Ensure documentation to support proper handling of accounts, inquiries, and complaints.
- Performs duties following departmental protocol, policies and procedures, and compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent required, two- or four-year degree preferred.
- Training and Experience: A minimum of 2 years working hospital service access, clinical services access, physician office or billing and collections is preferred.

- Demonstrate an independent work initiative, sound judgment and strong work ethic.
- Professional demeanor and excellent public relation skills.

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office.
Essentials:
- Must be able to report to work fit for duty and free of any adverse effects of illegal drugs, medical marijuana, prescription medication, and/or alcohol.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with other individuals.
Physical Demands: The physical demands of this position primarily require the use of hands and fingers. Abilities such as vision, hearing, talking, sitting, standing, and walking are also required. There may on occasion be a need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
