Duties
- Measure and cut drywall sheets to fit designated areas accurately.
- Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and square.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and painters, to ensure project timelines are met.
- Perform additional tasks as needed, such as door hanging, trim carpentry, and helping in other departments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall installation or similar construction roles.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with tools used in drywall installation and other related trades is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
