Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture focused on safety, exceptional customer service, technical excellence, and adherence to quality standards within the Fiber Optic Installation team.
- Oversee and complete quality control checks to ensure high standards are consistently met.
- Conduct and document field safety observations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to the Installation Technician team, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
- Address and resolve customer and technical issues while proactively preventing potential escalations.
- Build positive employee relations through clear and effective individual and team communication.
- Monitor and mentor team members in areas such as safety, quality, productivity, customer service, and overall well-being.
- Ensure Fiber Optic Installation Technicians have access to and maintain necessary tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and external service providers to streamline operations.
- Educate team members on company products, services, and performance expectations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of network designs, architectures, and technologies.
- 3 years of experience as a Fiber Optic Installation Technician with a track record of managing teams.
- Proficiency in data analytics and reporting.
- Strong familiarity with various hand tools (battery-powered and non-battery powered).
- Associate's degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- Supervisory experience in a technical environment (preferred).
Salary : $85,000 - $93,000
