Pay: Based on experience, range: $20-$25/hr DOE

To provide technical and clerical support to the daily operations of the Human Resources Department with special emphasis on training programs, employee records and Human Resources Information system, employment verifications, job descriptions and the new hire process. Responsible for gathering and maintaining all Workers Compensation information and filing in accordance to their rules and regulations. Appointed to Safety Committee as HR representative.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with the creation and maintenance of personnel files in accordance with personnel policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist with the maintenance and verification of group health insurance plans for employees
• Assist in the recruitment process to include in-house posting, advertising, license verification, educational verification, references, background checks; prepare and participate in pre-employment paperwork process and maintain appropriate records.
• Participate in new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward hospital goals.
• Organize and conduct new and annual orientation to include paperwork to managers.
• Develop and maintain filing system for applicants.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel and working with spreadsheets.
• Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks.
• Minimum two years’ experience in Human Resources and/or administrative capacity, with similar responsibilities.
