Position Overview:
The Patient Services Coordinator will ensure that the assigned duties and projects will be carried out to support the mission and goals of Ryan Health.
Essential Functions:
The Patient Services Coordinator, in consultation and in collaboration with the Executive Director, and designees, will:
Manage patient registration databases to ensure all patient registrations are accurately reported in ECW and New York City databases. Oversee front-end data collection and report for the Continuing Access to Care Project.
The Direct Relief Vaccine Outreach, and other engagement and outreach activities as identified.
Activities are to include, but are not limited to:
Identifying community partners’ patient or client registration needs and coordinating with partners to ensure all EAC-related data is accurately reported.
Assisted in opening new templates for vaccinations and other outreach initiatives.
Coordinate staff and staffing schedules
In consultation and collaboration with regarding, supervise the Patient Services Representative regarding outreach and engagement activities.
In consultation, and collaboration with Ryan Health’s Primary Van and Wadsworth staff, manage the scheduling of outreach patients.
Ensure that registration staff are trained on all NYC Easy Access to Care (AC) protocols
Maintain a calendar of all activities and schedules in ECW
Assist with data collection and reporting for all stakeholders
Troubleshoot scheduling and registration issues and concerns
The Patient Services Coordinator Community will also provide support and assistance:
Monitor LUMA Application:
Waitlisting
Appointment Conversion
Assist with Kiosk Monitoring
QI Projects, including but not limited to:
UDS data analysis and reporting
Access coordination for EAC patients needing additional services
Patient surveys
Minimum Experience and Skills Required:
Strong patient registration and data collection skills
Minimum two (2) years of work experience in patient services or related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Education, Licenses, and/or Certifications Required:
Associate degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a multi-site Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or another healthcare environment.
Bilingual: English/French and/or some African dialects
