Purpose:
To provide general patient care, including diagnosis, treatment and consultations to patients of all ages under the supervision of the department manager
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary healthcare provider performing physicals, ordering tests and prescribing medications
- Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history, assessment and care of patients of all ages
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
- Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by preceding educational tools
- Authorizes treatments and educates patients and families on continued care

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure
Preferred:
- Minimum of one years’ experience in the Nurse Practitioner role
