Shuttle Van Driver (Part-time, on-call as needed)

Wilson College is seeking dependable and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Van Drivers. This part-time, on-call role offers the chance to serve our campus community by providing safe and efficient shuttle services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Transport students to various destinations, including field trips, shopping, airports, train stations, athletic events, and club trips.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and operational.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal driving regulations.
• Report any vehicle issues to the Physical Plant immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• At least 3 years of driving experience; passenger transportation experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially with college-age individuals.
• Must complete Wilson College’s driving certification and a three-part background check.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

• Part-time, as-needed or as-available. Hours and days will vary; may require working weekends and evenings.
