As part of our nursing team, you will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients including taking vitals, medication reconciliation, and medical history
- Communicate with patient to determine reason for visit
- Update/document patient information in EMR system
- Provide injections as directed by provider
- Assist provider with procedures and medical examination
- Make referrals
- Complete patient paperwork
- Return/make patient calls
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Other tasks as needed
Skills
- LPN or experienced Medical Assistant
- Experience with electronic medical records a plus
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Ability to work well with others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable
