We are seeking a hands-on Technical HRIS Lead with strong development skills to manage both PeopleSoft Developers/Analysts and System Administrators while providing leadership in the broader Information Systems (IS) environment. This role focuses on the technical management of legacy PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, but with the expectation that the candidate will also contribute to the strategic and operational effectiveness of other integrated IS systems. The ideal candidate will drive optimize system functionality, and ensure seamless integration across all information systems while maintaining a hands-on approach to development and technical support.

- Hands-on Development & System Integration
- Lead development activities for PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 while integrating and managing other information systems as needed.
- Ensure seamless communication between PeopleSoft and other IS platforms to support business processes.
- Maintain, develop and enhance custom modules, reports, and integrations while ensuring alignment with overall IS architecture.
- Perform system analysis, design, and coding for other IS systems when necessary, ensuring they integrate effectively with PeopleSoft.
- Information Systems Leadership
- Oversee the broader IS landscape, including PeopleSoft and other applications, ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IS teams to drive system optimization, integration, and upgrades.
- Act as a technical advisor for system improvements beyond PeopleSoft, including other ERP modules, third-party systems, and cloud-based services.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead a cross-functional team of developers and administrators, guiding both PeopleSoft and broader IS projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IS systems with organizational strategy and business processes.
- Ensure the smooth operation of integrated systems and that technical teams are aligned on goals and deadlines.
- IS System Architecture & Oversight
- Oversee technical architecture for PeopleSoft and other key IS applications, ensuring systems are integrated, secure, and high-performing.
- Manage system administration tasks across IS environments, including environment refreshes, upgrades, and performance optimizations.
- Provide leadership in database and server management, including Oracle databases, Linux, Windows Servers, and Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
- Business Analysis & System Integration
- Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather requirements and implement solutions across multiple IS platforms, including PeopleSoft.
- Lead the maintenance, design and implementation of system enhancements and integrations to support cross-functional business needs.
- Production Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide hands-on production support for PeopleSoft HCM and other IS systems, acting as the escalation point for complex issues.
- Ensure that all IS environments are supported according to service level agreements (SLAs), and critical issues are resolved promptly.
- Security, Compliance, & Governance
- Lead security administration and compliance efforts across the entire IS ecosystem, ensuring SOX compliance and governance standards are met.
- Work closely with security teams to address vulnerabilities and risks within PeopleSoft and other IS applications.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in PeopleSoft development, system administration, and broader IS environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with PeopleSoft, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, COBOL, and Application Engine.
- Experience with Oracle Databases, Linux/Windows Server, and other IS-related infrastructure.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional IS teams, managing both system development and system administration responsibilities.
- Experience integrating PeopleSoft with other IS platforms and applications.
- Strong understanding of IT security and governance, including SOX compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects across multiple IS systems.
- Experience with Integration Broker, Component Interface, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
- Experience managing other ERP systems, IS applications, or hybrid cloud environments in addition to PeopleSoft.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Compensation And Benefits
- Hourly contract rate range of $80.00 to $90.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
