- Assembles fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
- Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
- Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
Qualifications
- Required to complete an apprenticeship or on the job training.
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Ability to workunder moderate supervision.
- 1-2years of related experience (preferred, not required).
