Summary :
As a warehouse and inventory specialist, you are responsible for varied daily, weekly and periodic tasks such as but not limited to warehouse upkeep, warehouse inventory control, inventory counts, filling orders and delivery of needed supplies to the company’s accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
In this role you will also perform general building maintenance as needed, such as installations, light bulb replacements, equipment repairs, emergency services, cleaning and other assignments as needed in a responsible, efficient and safe way.
Duties :
- Performs physical count of key and warehouse inventory and investigates discrepancies.
- Receives and unpacks goods delivered from vendors neatly in warehouse.
- Inventory count, order prep and delivery of items needed to company accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Keep warehouse organized, neat and stocked of janitorial chemicals and supplies.
- Maintain and clean janitorial equipment and tools in warehouse.
- New account set ups and delivery.
- Emergency requests as needed by company accounts.
- Substitute for Day Porters on occasion.
- Light maintenance duties such as but not limited to installations and light bulbs replacement.
- Use company provided phone to check for work orders, updates, requests and office communication.
- Special projects as needed.
